Well, I managed to get mine picked up Thursday afternoon. And I hope to get it to the range for break in soon. It is noticeable larger than my PM9 but does still (just) fit in a right front jeans pocket while riding in a nemesis holster. It needs a cleaning and 200rnds of break in next. Hopefully the weekend will have enough of a schedule hole for me to fit two hours for the range. I am interested where the point of aim winds up as I am already thinking of some XS sights…
Peace

I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
"Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
"more stuff than you are"

I like the new rails. Gone are the teensy tin sheet razors in the dust cover.
The re-worked slide stop looks great too. I don't care about it being ambidextrous, but the old slide stop was an eyesore on plastic Kahrs. They inherited it from metal frame models, where it was somewhat in line with the grips. Either way, it's corrected now.
Indeed, reviewers really ought to check if Hellcat magazines interchange.
Hellcat magazines do interchange. I haven't seen it with my own eyes but I have it from a very reliable source.

I wasn't really all too excited about the X9 but watching that video it's starting to hit my soft spot. Thanks, guys, for stirring the pot. My wife will hate yall.

Agreed, I have XS sights on several carry guns and love them. It also helps that they are local to me (20min east of my house) and I can drop-off, pick-up and BS with them in person...
I still have not been able to shoot my X9 yet. My local range, Defender Outdoors, has a very upscale, indoor range a short 15min from the house. My issue has been getting there and having to wait over an hour to get a lane. They do a "membership" that give you priority, but I've been hesitant to buy in on that so far. The wife though now insists I do just that next week. Good woman, she didn't balk at all about spending $518 on the X9 or about the $600 dollar range fee...
I didn't balk a bit about buy her new Dimond pretties at three times the price... But I did gulp pretty hard.
Having the resources to play this hard at our age is the ONLY good thing about still getting up and heading to work everyday.
Peace

So this first version of the x9 is a striker fired gun without anything special /kahr about it?
No slimmer than the competition?
No kahr true double action trigger?
Is there anything about it that sets it apart from the now - crowded field?
