    Default Dented brass?

Went through a box of PMC FMJ this afternoon with my P380. Every single casing that I found ( and there were more than a dozen more) has a dent as seen above at 6 o’clock, and FWIW 7 o’clock is where the ejector burrs all of their rims.
Had one failure to eject- not uncommon for me with this gun. It also never locked back on empty….and rarely ever does after hundreds of rounds, despite them “addressing” it once at their facility….

But these dented casings also tell me that all is not copacetic with my P380, and these two symptoms may be related🤔. I have a Bren 556 that does similar, but apparently that’s the nature of that beast and it functions perfectly. In this gun it seems to be a symptom.

I’m all ears here and thanks in advance😊

Any burrs or extremely sharp edges on your extractor?
What happens if you slip a cartridge in between the breach face and the extractor with the slide off the gun?
Is your extractor pin facing the right way?

Was the one(s) that didn’t eject have a dent in them?
