    I concur; that's a real beauty.

    Cool 1971 Cannonball Run-winning Ferrari 365 GTB/4

In 1971, the Daytona gained fame when one was driven by Dan Gurney and Brock Yates in the inaugural Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash.
Showcasing the car's potential for sustained high speed travel, the pair won with an average speed of 80.1 miles per hour (129 km/h),
    completing the distance from
    New York City to L.A.—2,876 miles (4,628 km)—in 35 hours 54 minutes.
Gurney was later quoted as saying "We never once exceeded 175 miles per hour."

Well sad day for bawanna today. Lost my mother this morning. Actually, kind of a blessing really. She had dementia and didn't know anyone for the last couple years. Spent 3 years basically sitting in a recliner with 6 others in similar condition every day. No kind of life in that. Course the Vultures (namely my youngest sister is circling with hands out). How I do hate vultures. Be glad to get this all dealt with, and I don't have to deal with the sisters maybe forever.

Sorry to hear that Colonel. It was a mixed blessing when my Mom passed too. Still hard to fathom for us. I hope your sister doesn't make things worse for you.

My condolences on the passing of your mother. Lost mine to cancer when I was 31. Kinda makes me glad I was an only child. It's tough to watch someone in that type of situation. Sad you have to deal with birds. Didn't have to deal with any vultures. Hopefully, things go as smoothly and painlessly as possible.

    Bawanna,
    Sorry for your loss.

Life is defined by two dates with a dash in-between.
I hope she made the most of the dash.
