In Washington it is still legal to carry in a place of worship. We attend a small church of 60-80 people. My wife and I are very involved with a 12-step recovery ministry that meets in the church fellowship hall in the afternoon. We started carrying because of (1) the crazy state of our world and (2) because some of the drug dealers in town are a little miffed that we've taken some of their previous customers. Our pastor is aware we carry and appreciates that we are there in case of a problem.

I hear what you folks are saying, would just hate to loose my legal right to carry because I did not follow the rules. Note to self.... I don't agree with the rules, just have to follow them. I read a post about someone looking for a Remora holster that fit better than the recogmended one. I have a holster for the S&W bodyguard 380 that fits the holster very nice. if you were to order it with the sweat gaurd and the Kydex reinforcement it would be a nice holster. If I could post pictures I could show you. Fits better than the one I ordered for the pistol.

How long is the turnaround on these holsters? Does he send an email when he ships it?

    Thumbs up Thumbs up!

Answered my own questions, seeing as how no one else would. He got slammed right about the time I ordered mine exactly 3 weeks ago. I just got it this afternoon. But WTH, I have my CM9 in the holster now sitting at about 10:00 on my waistline, and it is very comfortable! Finally, I have found the right holster to carry my CM9 AIWB! Yay!

This holster is quite unique in it's design. Instead of sewing the edges together flat at the back, he brings the edges together end to end, sews or binds them together in some way and then covers the seam with a very thin strip of leather inside and out so you cannot see how it is done. Look at this pic and you'll see what I mean.

This creates a perfectly shaped pocket that the trigger guard fits into and, in fact, the snug fit of the trigger guard provides the retention because there is no boning at the ejection port or any other form of retention. But the retention is perfect. This method of closing up the back, rather than the traditional method, makes this holster very much smaller and I think that smooth rounded contour adds to the comfort that I am experiencing against my soft lower belly. Look at this FIST holster for comparison.

It starts at $64.95 and goes up with addition of mouth reinforcement. And do you see how much wider it is at the bottom? I'll bet that thin edge makes it less comfortable AIWB.

A very unconventional design, the Kusiak. Very simple. But it works!

    Thumbs up It's a winner!

I have continued to wear the gun/holster all day every day and the retention seems to have improved as the holster molds itself to the gun. It is still perfectly comfortable at the 10:00 position and I am really enjoying having my CM9 out front where I can see it and so easily draw it, even when seated! The holster is super stable; it doesn't shift around or up or down at all. The great clip makes it like the holster is bolted to my belt, and yet it is easy to put on and take off.

My shiny polished CM9 has found a new home!

Great news! I knew you were going to love this holster. I think you will enjoy wearing it at 7:30-8:00 too. I love this holster as well as my PJHolster, I just find this holster a tad bit easier to grip the CM9 for the draw because of the straight drop. Enjoy your new Kusiak, but don't forget about the PJ.

Glad you like your new Kusiak holster. Sorry I missed your previous question about shipping times. When I ordered mine, it took a week - but since posting pictures and positive comments, Pepe says he's seen a major increase in Kahr sales. I love mine and wear it every day. Retention is still great and even after a full day of running around doing errands, driving in the car, and even taking long walks (weather permitting here in the great North Wet) I forget I have it on.

Thanks, Yogi! Yeah, it has been frustrating trying to find the right holster to carry my CM9 AIWB. So, I'm delighted!

Funny, though. When I tried it at 8:00, it was immediately very uncomfortable. Each of us is built differently. I have a spare tire that must not have liked it there. No biggie because I have my PJ that works perfectly in that location!
