I’m self conscious about not slouching, and sucking in my gut. I don’t need this crap, man; I’m only 59!

I would have rather been able to send said problems in on a makers dime for repairs. The price is paid, one way or the other I guess! Would sometimes have saved the knuckle skin and buying of rarely used tools. I have been lucky to not have mucked anything up so far. In times like that I’m thankful for my Navy engineer background. That, along with being a budget hot rodder and drag racer in the past (My best friends dad, who I really respected as a man’s man, was a Navy Seal and a motor head). I am glad to hear they did it right for you. As much as those lil Kimbers cost I think you deserved the good treatment you and your gun received. What kind of oil do you apply to the grips? I’m just wondering if I should use oil instead of wax, but am concerned about oil coming off where I don’t want it, or making a grip slippery. I doubt you’d be doing so if that was the case.
I use Shooter's Choice FP-10 for cleaning and lubricating. It's very light, smells great, and doesn't make the micarta slick for some odd reason, since it does lube the moving parts very well.

Same age - 59 next month - and the old guy fairy snuck in overnight and smacked me with the crepey skin and knobby knuckles wand. Do they make protective garlic garlands or something to keep that menace the heck away from me?

Good God, I have shoes older than you two.

I get mine from VZ Grips. They are very rubust, thicker than others on ebay and such. I got some others once but they were quite thin and kind of a one shot deal. They tear and aren't nearly as effective.

I bet those shoes cost you a lot less when you bought them they would cost now. Probably less than $5?

Thanks for the tip Colonel. You are spot on about the others being thin and tearing easily. I'll have to get me some of those.

I think that’s actually Bidens latest pick for his cabinet.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Surround yourself with people more detestable than you and you look good by comparison. Kind of like the plain, thin girl hanging out with Paul Stines' cousin Shirley
